The Tannbergerhof – spiced up with fresh pepper

This fresh hint of spice comes from the new family of owners, the Pfefferkorns from the traditional hotel "Die Krone von Lech", together with hostess Katja Schillinger, who is looking forward to meeting you in person and is happy to introduce herself here:

Lech and back. This is how my coming and returning to Lech can be described in a few words.
But first things first: As a native of Bavaria, it is not surprising that I worked at the Munich Oktoberfest for twelve years with great enthusiasm. And that was a good thing, because that's where my colleagues recommended Lech. My colleagues kept their promise. I went to Lech in 2011 and worked in service on an alpine pasture, and I really fell in love with this charming, picturesque place. Despite all my love, I didn't want my journey to end in Lech. I wanted to go further. And so I completed a dual study programme at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Ravensburg, specialising in hotel and tourism management, combined with an apprenticeship at a renowned luxury hotel in Frankfurt. I then became self-employed as a restaurateur and successfully managed a hotel with a brewery inn in Bavaria - until I was drawn back to Lech am Arlberg for the love of the landscape, where a new challenge awaited me at the 5-star romantic hotel "Die Krone von Lech" with the Pfefferkorn family, which I gladly accepted. In 2023, I moved across the street and took on the position of assistant manager at the 4-star Hotel "Tannbergerhof", which is also owned by the Pfefferkorn family. A year later, I was (promoted) to what I am today: a passionate hostess in this traditional hotel.

Guests at our four-star hotel are mostly young, active and dynamic. These young cosmopolitans expect an equally dynamic, top-quality service from us.

Our staff

Professional skills are important, but not the number one consideration. The best dish can still leave a lacklustre aftertaste if it is served without grace. We are seeking people who enjoy working in the service industry, are happy to contribute to our hotel, and are prepared to inspire guests with our new "spicy" team spirit. Because, after all, love adds pepper to life!
