The Formarinsee lake is easy to reach from Lech via the local bus or a 30-minute drive in your car. Fishing on the Formarinsee is an unforgettable experience, with the lake listed among the most beautiful places in Austria in 2005 by the ORF television show "9 Plätze – 9 Schätze" (9 places – 9 treasures). The lakeshore is particularly lovely when seen during your hike, trail-running excursion or mountain-bike tour.
